#1: "I was reading this book by some liberal humanist, and four pages into the book, what do you know, he starts talking shit about Foucault."

#2: "Are there still liberal humanists?"

    (Over)heard at Berkeley's Institute for X at lunchtime:

    "A 15 kiloton nuclear explosion at 101 Market in San Francisco would only kill 100,000."

    Or:

    "In 10 to 15 years there'll be ethnic specific bio-weapons."
