Life Goes On in Haifa

Although Haifa is still under the threat of attack, life, at first glance, seems to be continuing as normal. It's Saturday night and the cafes are full. During the day, Wadi Nisnas, the bustling Arab neighbourhood of Haifa, did not seem noticeably emptier than usual. However, while apartment-hunting, it became clear that a lot of little people had evacuated the city. Many of the landlords were unable to show us their apartments because they had left for Tel Aviv or other places for the weekend. One even thought that Tiberius would be a nice escape and instead found herself in a bunker with the family after the katyushas hit the town.
