Many Katyushot, Many Injuries

Haifa was just hit by 16 rockets and many people were injured. I recognize different places shown on TV, but of course exact locations aren't announced. I made a few phone calls to friends in Haifa.
Despite the continuing rocket attacks, I want to go home...

Carmia, just listened to you on CBC Canada TV. You are very brave and many Candians support Israel. BEWARE the CBC! It is a left wing Pro-Palestinian/ Islam organ and not to be trusted.

Good Luck, I guess you'll need it.

Hi,
I just seen your blog address on the CBC tv report (Canada) this afternoon (25th). So I'm checking in and will keep track to read your posts. Bless you, your family and friends. Be safe.

Carmia,
DO NOT GO HOME YET. I understand that you dislike being away from home, having to rely on the kindness of others. I had to do that for over a week, here in Florida, because of the hurricanes 2 years ago. (My 2 cats and I went to Georgia.) If I could hold out for a week --and I'm a sissy-- then I know you can hold out for longer than that! It's only been a few days.
May G-d bless you and keep you far from the North (for now).

I saw your blog on the cbc and as an avowed cbc loving left wing freak all I have to say is I just want all of this to stop. It's like the world's gone mad and it has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with oil. Everything in the Middle East is about the oil. If Jesus comes back I'm not too worried for myself but I do feel bad for some of those televangelists in the States if their version of the afterlife turns out to be right. I think they're going to be punished for their idolotrous war-mongering use of God's name in vain. That goes for Hezbollah and the Ayatollahs as well. They're all peas in the same pod as far as I'm concerned.

Proletariat - I think you're better off writing your posts in English than running them through some online translating software.

The way Israel is bombing Lebanon, I can't help to think how long they've been drooling to take this country back 30 yrs. Because this reaction is definitely NOT about just 2 IDF soldiers kidnapped. Not only this point, but I can't help to think how much EASIER it has become to freely destroy Lebanon since Syria CONVENIANTLY withdrew its army in 2005 after Hariri's 'mysterious' bombing/assassination ;)

Let me try to summarize what you said based on my knowledge of French and Latin:

You made the effort to communicate with us in English, even though you can express yourself better in Portuguese. You realize that, even though Portuguese is one of the four most spoken languages in the world (really? did I get that right? seems like a lot - what about English, Mandarin, Hindi and Arabic?), we do not speak Portuguese. That's why you ran your post through a machine translation, producing a rather bizzare post.

To answer your question, I think it would be better for you to write in your own words in English, rather than Babylon-translated Portuguese. It's just easier to understand. We have readers from all over the world and we look forward to hearing from you, even if your English is not perfect. Take care.

Unfortunately, I still don't know what Proletariat was trying to express in the long comment.
In any case, I just wanted to find out how Carmia is holding up in her temporary residence. Hang in there, Carmia! This too shall pass.
